Recently the makers announced that Deepika Padukone will be pairing up with Prabhas in #Prabhas21. This news made huge attention throughout India as two biggest SuperStars pairing up for a movie.
Apparently, Deepika demanded a whopping 20 crores as remuneration for this movie. This is highest remuneration ever for an Indian actress. Usually she demands around 12 crores for her movies, but as the scale of this project is higher she raised the bar. But is such a big deal really necessary for the makers? Can't they go for other options which cost them a bit lesser?
When the same question was asked to the movie team, they replied that Nag Ashwin madly wanted this combination. He did not have any other actress in mind for that role. As the role demands great dancing skills along with glamour and charismatic screen presence, he thought only Deepika Padukone can justify for the requirements. Therefore he asked the producers not to compromise on her irrespective of the remuneration. Let's see what impact she leaves on the movie result.
