Earlier the Acharya makers eyed on Sankranthi 2021 slot after Covid-19 effect. As the 2020 sankranthi biggies Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikuntha purramulo made whopping profits, Megastar did not want to miss out Pongal 2021. But unfortunately as things have not settled down yet and need to shoot major portions, the movie team had to revisit their plans and because of that now they had to vacate sankranthi slot.
Eyeing this as an opportunity, PowerStar Pawan Kalyan Team decided to grab that slot. As per latest buzz, Vakeel Saab is going to be released in Sankranthi 2021. As the movie unit already completed many schedules, it will be easier for them to complete the rest part quickly once the shooting resumes. So the younger brother replaces his elder brother for this upcoming pongal.
