Superstar Mahesh Babu who made his debut as solo hero with Rajakumarudu which is released in 1999 completes 20 years of its release by today. This film is directed by K Raghavendra Rao and produced by Ashwini Dutt. This film had a run of 100 days in 42 centres.
Mahesh Babu made his debut as Super Star Krishna's son but today his journey and achievements made him No.1 star in the industry. In this 20 years of his career he made 25 films out which he did few commercial, experimental and social message oriented films. He is the first one to score Industry Hit(Pokiri in year 2006) in this current generation actors, which also run for 100days in 200 centers, he scored Non-Baahubali IH with Srimanthudu as well. Mahesh first opened market in Overseas with the film Athadu and expanded TFI market with Dookudu. He holds the record of having Five 100Cr+ grosser and Two 100+Cr Share movies. 9 films in $1M club, 2 films in $2.5M club and 1 film in$3M club.
He is awarded with 8 Nandi, 5 Filmfare, 4 CineMaa, 4 Santosham, 3SIIMA, 1 IIFA award and many more in Best Actor category which is record for any actor in South India.
